Arsenal table bid for Alvaro Morata
Arsenal are reported to have lodged a formal bid to sign Juventus striker Alvaro Morata. The Spaniard is eager to find himself a fresh challenge after he played second fiddle to Paulo Dybala for the centre-forward position last season.
The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will look to bring a new striker to his ranks this summer with Olivier Giroud having reached the best of his ability.
According to The Sun, the North London giants have made a £28m offer for Morata amid interest from the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea.
Former club Real Madrid still hold a £23m buy-back option on Morata's contract, and this could eventually rise the deal to £38m.
Morata made just 16 league starts for the Old Lady during the previous campaign.
