Everton boss confident of Michael Keane signing
Everton manager Ronald Koeman is seemingly confident of luring Burnley defender Michael Keane to Goodison Park.
The Toffees had been in discussions over a deal for Keane last month, but the Clarets decided to delay the negotiations until the summer.
According to The Mirror, the Merseyside outfit remain in pole position to sign the £20m-rated despite interest from the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea.
Keane is expecting to play regular first-team football next season, and a bigger challenge must guarantee him a role in the starting lineup.
The 24-year-old has been key to the Clarets' excellent home record this term, but the club will eventually give up on their player at the end of the season.
Keane joined Burnley on a permanent basis from Manchester United for just £2.5m in January 2015, and the club stand the chance to make a substantial profit through his sale.
