"Gerrard should see England medics"

"Gerrard should see England medics"

England boss Fabio Capello has insisted that Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard, should be seen by England's medics today to assess his injury.

Liverpool reported that Steven Gerrard has injured his right leg and is out for a week or ten days. Their medics stated that Gerrard has a tear in the adductor magnus muscle which rules him out from any games.

The 'ruthless' Capello has asked Gerrard to travel to the South to have him assessed by the England medics before the national team's clash against Germany. He said that players should know and understand the importance of the national team.

Capello has many players injured , Joe Hart, is the latest in the long list that includes Ferdinand, Ashley Cole, Owen Hargreaves, Joe Cole, Wayne Rooney, Emile Heskey and John Terry. Although Terry is determined to lead England out in Berlin, it is highly unlikely that he will be able to shake his soreness off and play.

Micheal Owen and David Beckham has been omitted again as "they are not in their best form" as described by Capello.
