Arsenal will reportedly revive their interest in Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema this summer. The France international had been strongly linked with a move to the Emirates last year but a deal failed to materialise.
According to The Mail, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will shift his focus to his countrymate, if Real manage to sign one of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Robert Lewandowski from the Bundesliga.
The Gunners were linked with a move for Aubameyang last winter, but were put off by Borussia Dortmund's hefty &pound70m price tag.
Arsene Wenger's side are also said to be close to negotiating a summer deal for Borussia Monchengladbach skipper Granit Xhaka.
Benzema has netted 27 goals in all competitions for the Bernabeu giants this term.
