Mihajlovic open to permanent Hart stay

Torino could consider permanent deal for Joe Hart

Mihajlovic open to permanent Hart stay

Torino manager Sinisa Mihajlovic won't rule out the signing of goalkeeper Joe Hart on a permanent basis from Manchester City. The England international joined the Serie A side on a season-long loan after he found himself out-of-favour at the Etihad.

  • City coach Pep Guardiola opted to play Willy Caballero for the opening games of the campaign, before the arrival of Claudio Bravo from Barcelona meant that Hart had to move in the search for first-team football.

While speaking to reporters, Mihajlovic insisted that it is too early to come to a conclusion, but the club would invite the opportunity of a permanent deal for the shot-stopper, provided he is in the same frame of mind.

"We haven't spoken about the future — it's too early." he said. "Obviously he's a big player. It depends on this season. If he enjoys a good season maybe he will stay. It also depends on what he thinks."

Hart had a disastrous start to his Torino career as he made a blunder which cost his side a valuable point at Atalanta.
