Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has completed a move from Borussia Dortmund to Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain for a reported fee of £61 million. The Gabonese striker will receive a £5 million signing on fee and will receive £8.75 million per year.

  • Aubameyang is hot property, with his prolific strike rate making him wanted by some of Europe's biggest clubs throughout the last few years. He was the top scorer in the German Bundesliga last season and contributed 40 goals in all competitions for the German Cup winners.

The factor that seemed to seal Aubameyang's departure from Dortmund was the departure of Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel from the club on Tuesday. The sale sees another one of Dortmund's star players sold on, and supporters may now fear for other key men such as Marco Reus and Christian Pulisic.

Paris Saint-Germain are used to success in Ligue 1 and Monaco's victory will come as a shock to the system. The French giants are set to spend big this summer as they look to regain their title, and are being linked with the likes of Danny Rose, Jan Oblak and Ivan Perisic in addition to the added firepower that they will now have with Aubameyang.
