Confirmed Lineups: Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur

28 October 2017 - 10:47

Manchester United have named a strong-looking lineup for this afternoon's Premier League clash versus Tottenham Hotspur.

  • Enzo Maresca reveals real reason why Chelsea lost to Sunderland
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Sunderland, Marc Guiu starts

  • Both Eric Bailly and Phil Jones have been deemed fit enough to make the starting lineup, while Chris Smalling also features at the back in a defensive three.

Other than that, there are starts for Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Marcus Rashford in the attack ahead of Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard.

Meanwhile, Spurs have made three changes to their lineup with Harry Kane, Davinson Sanchez and Kieran Trippier making way for Eric Dier, Moussa Sissoko and Ben Davies.

Manchester United lineup: De Gea, Jones, Smalling, Bailly, Valencia, Young, Herrera, Matic, Rashford, Mkhitaryan, Lukaku. Substitutes: Romero, Blind, Darmian, McTominay, Mata, Lingard, Martial.

Tottenham Hotspur lineup: Lloris, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Dier, Aurier, Davies, Sissoko, Winks, Alli, Eriksen, Son. Substitutes: Vorm, Rose, Sanchez, Trippier, Dembele, Nkoudou, Llorente.

The Red Devils have won their last meetings versus Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford, and the hosts are likely to hold the advantage this afternoon in the absence of Spurs talisman Harry Kane, who is sidelined with a hamstring problem.
