Liverpool could reportedly make an approach to sign long-term target Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
The Reds are currently with sufficient options in their attack with Daniel Sturridge and Xherdan Shaqiri regularly providing the back-up to the likes Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
Despite this, Jurgen Klopp is said to be pushing hard for a winter move for Dembele, who is apparently discontent with the proceedings at the Camp Nou, The Sun reports.
Dembele only joined the Blaugrana from Borussia Dortmund last year but he has since struggled to cement a regular berth amid strong competition from Lionel Messi, Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez in the frontline.
Apart from that, there has been issues concerning his discipline and the club's staff were recently left frustrated after he failed to turn up for training without any knowledge regarding his position.
Liverpool are planning a bid worth £85m for the former Rennes graduate, though it remains to be seen whether Barcelona would sanction a mid-season sale for a player, who has over three years left on his contract.
