Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho has reportedly been earmarked as a transfer target for Bayern Munich as they seek to bolster their options in the wider attacking department.

  • The German giants have been constantly linked with a move for Manchester City's Leroy Sane this summer, but a deal now appears unlikely with the attacker sidelined for around six months after a serious knee concern.

According to AS, the Bavarian outfit are now looking into other candidates with head coach Niko Kovac wanting to add creative and experience players, who can play on the flank.

The same outlet claims that Coutinho is one of the names on their radar and they are prepared to make a proposal to the Blaugrana with regards to the player's services.

Aside from Coutinho, the Bundesliga champions are also keen on signing Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan and reports have emerged that the Croatian is undergoing a medical ahead of a season-long loan move.
