Chelsea are scheduled to host Leeds United in tonight's Premier League clash. The Blues are currently just two points behind leaders Tottenham Hotspur and have the chance to go top, if the other results go their way.

  • Erik ten Hag reacts to Casemiro's mistake vs Arsenal

  • Formation: 4-3-3

    Predicted Lineup:

Edouard Mendy has been the regular between the sticks since his arrival from Rennes last summer. He is expected to start against the Whites tonight.

In the backline, no changes are likely from the 0-0 draw against Spurs. Reece James and Ben Chilwell should occupy the right and left-back options while Kurt Zouma is expected to partner Thiago Silva at the heart of the defence.

N'Golo Kante has experienced a fine start to the season and he has finally got over his injury troubles. The Frenchman should feature in the holding midfield role with Mason Mount and Mateo Kovacic playing in front of him.

Further forward, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner should be definite starters in the right and left wing positions respectively. Olivier Giroud could be handed his maiden start of the league season after scoring all four goals in the Champions League clash at Sevilla in midweek.

Predicted Chelsea lineup (4-3-3): Edouard Mendy; Reece James, Kurt Zouma, Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell; N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount; Hakim Ziyech, Olivier Giroud, Timo Werner
