Predicted Chelsea line-up (3-4-2-1) vs Everton, Kovacic and Pulisic start

07 March 2021 - 20:19

Chelsea will entertain Everton in the Premier League on Monday night.

  • Chelsea want to sign Lyon star to replace Jadon Sancho
  • Arsenal want to bring Aymeric Laporte back to England

  • The Blues are presently fourth in the standings with 47 points, one ahead of the Toffees, who have a game in hand.

Their league record against the Toffees has not been great with one win and three losses in the last four meetings.

They are currently on an eight-match unbeaten league run and will be aiming to produce a strong display tomorrow.

    Formation: 3-4-2-1

    Predicted Line-up:

No changes are likely in the goalkeeping position or the back three.

Thiago Silva has gone through few training sessions after recovering from a hamstring issue, but the game may come too soon for him.

In the wing-back positions, Reece James and Ben Chilwell may vacate their places for Callum Hudson-Odoi and Marcos Alonso to fill in.

Tuchel recently talked about handling midfielder N'Golo Kante with extra care, given his regular niggles in the past.

The Frenchman may drop to the bench for Mateo Kovacic to accompany Jorginho in the centre of the park.

Further forward, there may be the solitary change with Hakim Ziyech making way for Christian Pulisic.

Pulisic has struggled for starts lately and may get the chance to prove himself with Ziyech failing to make his chances pay.

Chelsea Predicted Line-up: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Rudiger; Hudson-Odoi, Kovacic, Jorginho, Alonso; Mount, Pulisic; Werner.
