Tim Krul wanted by Tottenham
Tim Krul's stunning performances in the Premier League for Newcastle have not gone unnoticed by rival clubs, and Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has earmarked the Dutchman as a possible replacement for Brad Friedel once the American retires.
In yesterday's 3-0 defeat to Chelsea, Tim Krul had to be at the top of his game to keep the Blues at bay for the whole game, until conceding two late goals to Danny Sturridge and Salomon Kalou.
However, the performance from the keeper was nothing short of stunning. Krul made over 6 world class saves throughout the game, and saved a penalty from England midfielder Frank Lampard.
Tottenham are reportedly so impressed that they will make an enquiry for Krul next summer, but Newcastle could demand as much as 8m GBP for the 23 year old.
