Demba Ba nears Chelsea exit

The Senegalese striker Demba Ba is having the most tense moments of his footballing career right now as Chelsea are in full throttle in the transfer market.

According to the Daily Star, it now seems as though Ba will be latest player under threat of retaining his place in the team the new Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho continues his summer clear out, with ten players having already left the West London Club.

New signings are arriving day by day with Andre Schurrle recently making an £18m move from Bayer Leverkusen and Marco Van Ginkel joining from Vitesse Arnhem.With Brazilian David Luiz linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Chelsea still in search of a forward with Cavani and Rooney deeply linked, the Senegalese is having a tough time trying to prove his place in the Blues squad.

He has already been linked with a return to West Ham where he started his Premier League career, and to the big spenders of Russia with moneybags Anzhi Makhachkala, but those are just speculations for now.
