Southampton to move for Emil Hallfredsson
Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino is hopeful that a deal can be agreed with Italian side Verona to sign 29-year-old left winger Emil Hallfredsson.
The Icelandic international, who has already spent some time playing in England with Tottenham back in 2005 and Barnsley in 2009, is a surprise target for Southampton.
Having scored 10 goals in 71 games for the Italian club, several European sides have been monitoring the player in action and the Saints will make an enquiry this week.
