Carlo Ancelotti Dismisses Modric Exit Talk
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was quick to dismiss the reports linking the Croatian international, Luka Modric, with a move away from Los Blancos. He revealed that the player is happy to be a part of the Spanish outfit and is not going anywhere this summer.
The Croatian has been linked with moves to Premier League clubs Tottenham and Manchester United. United manager David Moyes is looking for reinforcements in the midfield but he has suffered disappointment in the Fabregas deal so far.
Modric made a switch to Bernabeu side from Spurs a year ago and his coach believes that a Premier League return is out of the picture for the 27-year-old this season.
"It is not true that Luka will leave. All the players are very happy to be here and working well," he told reporters.
"We have not spoken about any player leaving; it’s not true Modric will leave."
Luka Modric made 33 Liga appearances for Real and scored three goals for them.
