Liverpool hoping to tie up three late deals

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is hopeful to seal late deals for Chelsea winger Victor Moses, Sporting Lisbon defender Ilori and PSG defender Mahamadou Sakho.

The Reds have gone off to an impressive start this season with back to back wins and Rodgers is eager to add to his squad following injuries to new arrivals Kolo Toure and Aly Cissokho.

Chelsea winger Victor Moses has been asked to find himself a new club this summer after Jose Mourinho opted to leave him out of his plans for the ongoing season. Liverpool are considering making a loan move for the former Wigan star and are hoping to ward off competition from West Brom to his signature.

Kolo Toure and Cissokho's injuries has raised some concern for the Liverpool boss who is now looking at reshoring his defensive department with deals for Sakho and Ilori.

Rumors have that the 20 year old Sporting Lisbon defender is currently at Anfield undergoing a medical ahead of his move. Sakho has also been linked with a move to the merseyside club after being restricted to the bench at his club by Laurent Blanc.
