Southampton linked with Julio Cesar loan move
Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has made the loan signing of Julio Cesar his number 1 priority once the January transfer window reopens.
According to reports, the Brazilian international is still looking to leave Queens Park Rangers in the January transfer window and the 34-year-old would prefer a move to the Premier League.
The player, who has been told he will definitely be a part of Brazil's squad in the World Cup next year, is said to be very interested in a move to the South coast. Currently Southampton are missing their first choice keeper Artur Boruc through injury and are looking to bring in a backup as soon as the transfer window has reopened.
