John Heitinga on West Ham radar
Everton centre-back John Heitinga is reportedly set to make a move to West Ham United when the transfer window reopens on New Year's day.
The Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is keen on adding defensive recruits in January, with the likes of Winston Reid, James Tomkins and James Collins all sidelined due to injury.
It is understood that the Hammers have made the move for the Dutch international, in order to ease the club's struggles at the back this campaign.
Heitinga is keen on the switch as he aims to cement his place in the Netherlands national team for the World Cup finals in Brazil next summer.
Heitinga is unlikely to take any part in the Toffees' clash against Stoke City on New Year's day.
