Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku to join Atletico Madrid on loan

Belgian star Romelu Lukaku will reportedly join Spanish champions Atletico Madrid from Chelsea on loan, according to The Express.

The talented forward has spent the past two seasons on loan with West Bromwich Albion and Everton respectively, and reports had claimed that manager Jose Mourinho could offer him a chance to kick-start his Chelsea career.

However, this looks highly unlikely now, as the Blues have come up with an agreement with Atletico over the transfer of the 21-year-old on a temporary basis for the next campaign.

It is understood that the La Liga giants have made the offer considering the fact that star striker Diego Costa would be leaving the club for Chelsea this summer.
