Liverpool plot shock move for Man Utd winger
Liverpool are readying a summer offer of around £8m to secure the services of Antonio Valencia from league rivals Manchester United.
Valencia, who is currently plying his trade with the Ecuadorian national side at the World Cup finals in Brazil, is admired by Reds manager Brendan Rodgers, who is set to make an enquiry.
According to The Express, the Merseyside giants will offer an escape route to the former Wigan star, who was sparingly used under former boss David Moyes last season.
In addition to this, the Reds will make a bid of £8m in order to land the player's signature during the summer transfer window.
Valencia joined United from Wigan Athletic in the summer of 2009.
