Liverpool eye Mario Balotelli as Luis Suarez replacement?
Liverpool are reportedly set to join Arsenal in the race to sign AC Milan star striker Mario Balotelli this summer, according to Tuttosport.
The Reds manager Brendan Rodgers considers the Italy international as the perfect replacement for Luis Suarez, who is likely to leave Anfield in the summer, with the Merseyside giants currently in negotiations with Barcelona over his sale.
Tuttosport claims that the departure of Suarez, could lure the Reds into making a bid for the former Manchester City man, who is believed to be disillusioned with life in Italy, as the public held him responsible for the national side's poor show during the World Cup finals in Brazil.
Balotelli joined the Rossoneri from Manchester City in January 2013.
