AC Milan table bid for Lukas Podolski

AC Milan are to make a surprise bid for Germany international forward Lukas Podolski. The Serie A giants want to sign the Arsenal forward as a replacement for Mario Balotelli, who is set to agree a move to Liverpool this week.

Podolski was left out of Arsenal's squad for the visit to Everton and replaced by Joel Campbell instead and today the German media have linked the forward with a move to Wolfsburg and Galatasaray.

The German international is known to be fiercely loyal to former club FC Koln and thus is said to be against the idea of a move to Wolfsburg and it is also understood that a move to Turkey does not appeal to the former Bayern Munich man.

Therefore, the interest of AC Milan is sure to tempt the 29-year-old. It is understood that the Rossoneri will bid 12 million euros for the player.
