Wenger rules out Lukas Podolski exit
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has dismissed speculation linking German international Lukas Podolski with an exit from the club in January.
The World Cup winner has failed to make a start in the Premier League this season, with Wenger favouring the likes of Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck, and Yaya Sanogo ahead of him in the pecking order.
Recent reports have revealed that the 29-year-old will seek for new pastures in the upcoming transfer window should they situation stay as it is.
However, Wenger has refuted the claims by insisting that he has no desire to offload the former Koln man in the near future.
"He plays a position where there is a big competition. The post where I have a lot of players. He came very late from his holidays [in the summer]," He said.
"It's not established at all that he will leave at Christmas. It was me who sets the price and it doesn't correspond at all to his price. He is not for sale and there is no offer."
