Crystal Palace after Alexander Buttner

Crystal Palace have been linked with a shock move for Dinamo Moscow defender Alexander Buttner. The former Man Utd full back is one of the Eagles' top summer transfer targets.

Buttner left Man Utd for Russia after failing to impress in England but the defender has hinted that he has some unfinished business in the Premier League. Rumours suggest that Palace coach Alan Pardew has been watching Buttner's progress closely in recent months and had even considered a move for the defender when he was in charge at Newcastle. Palace will be given a hefty transfer budget in the summer if they are able to survive in the top flight.
