Chelsea to make improved bid for Asmir Begovic
Chelsea will come up with a new offer for Asmir Begovic having seen their initial bid of £6m rebuffed by Stoke City.
The Blues boss Jose Mourinho is keen on signing up the Bosnian international as a replacement for Petr Cech, who left the Premier League holders for Arsenal recently.
According to The Telegraph, the West London giants will make a fresh offer in the region of £8m for the talented shot-stopper.
Begovic is believed to be keen on a move to Stamford Bridge even if he would have to play as an understudy to Thibaut Courtois next season.
