Swans boss rules out Ashley Williams exit
Swansea City manager Garry Monk has insisted that club captain Ashley Williams will not exit the club during the summer transfer window.
The Welsh international was constantly linked with a switch away from the Welsh outfit last summer, until he opted to sign a new contract extension.
However, recent reports have cited that Crystal Palace could seek a summer deal for the talented central defender.
Monk has now dismissed the reports claiming that the 30-year-old is not for sale.
"Ash will be here, he'll be here with Swansea. I've got a good relationship with him, he's our captain and obviously I played with him for very years as well." he told The Mirror.
Swansea begin their Premier League campaign with an away trip to Chelsea on August 8.
