Arsenal target James McArthur
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will reportedly look to solve the club's ongoing injury crisis with a move for Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur.
The Gunners currently find themselves without the likes of Francis Coquelin, Alexis Sanchez, Mikel Arteta and Santi Cazorla as they head into a busy festive schedule.
A report from The Express claims that Wenger could jump in for a new defensive midfielder in the New Year as he is unsure whether Mathieu Flamini can fill the void.
It is added that Scotland international McArthur is considered as a surprise candidate to fill in the boots of Coquelin during the second half of the campaign.
McArthur has featured in all league games for Palace this season.
