Benik Afobe passes Bournemouth medical
Benik Afobe has reportedly had a successful medical ahead of his proposed switch to Bournemouth.
Cherries boss Eddie Howe had confirmed yesterday that the former Arsenal graduate was close to sealing a move to the South Coast.
Sky Sports News now reports that the player has completed a series of medical tests and the paperwork on a four-year contract has been sent to the Premier League for execution.
It is added that the Premier League newcomers are expected to pay a club-record fee of around £10m to land the talented marksman.
Afobe could be in line to make his Cherries debut against West Ham United on Tuesday night.
