Mathieu Debuchy makes Bordeaux loan switch

Arsenal full-back Mathieu Debuchy will ply his trade at Bordeaux on loan until the end of the season.

The France international had struggled to seal a regular starting role at the Emirates this season, with manager Arsene Wenger favouring the likes of Hector Bellerin and Calum Chambers ahead of him for the right-back role.

Sources now reveal that the 30-year-old has linked up with Bordeaux for the season in a bid to increase his chances of making it with his national side for Euro 2016.
