Theo Walcott to Man City?
Incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is said to be lining up a summer offer for Arsenal winger Theo Walcott. The England international has been tipped to leave the Emirates after he fell out-of-favour under Arsene Wenger this season.
Walcott, 27, started the campaign in bright fashion, and there were signs he could play a keen role in the club's chase for the long-awaited title.
However, his performances have deteriorated ever since, and he currently finds himself clinging to a regular role from the substitutes' bench.
The Independent says that the 27-year-old is among the top names in the shortlist drawn up by Guardiola, who will replace Manuel Pellegrini in the summer.
The report goes on to state that the Citizens will monitor the player's situation in the coming weeks ahead of a summer move for his signature.
Should Walcott make the switch to the Etihad, he would link up with former teammates Gael Clichy. Bacary Sagna and Samir Nasri.
Walcott has racked over 340 appearances for the Gunners since his move from Southampton in 2006.
