Tottenham Hotspur full-back Danny Rose has been linked with a potential switch to Manchester City this summer. The 25-year-old has had a top season with Spurs and this recently earned him a place in the PFA Player of the Year shortlist.
The Mirror says the Citizens are planning a move for a new left-back with future boss Pep Guardiola not content with his current options in Gael Clichy and Aleksandar Kolarov.
The paper goes on to state that Rose is the prime target for the position after his excellent showing for Spurs in the English league this term.
Nevertheless, it would take a huge effort to lure the player from White Hart Lane given the way he has progressed under Mauricio Pochettino in recent years.
Rose has appeared in 24 league games for Spurs this season.
