Man Utd to rival Juventus for Andre Gomes

Manchester United are likely to be engaged in a transfer tussle with Juventus to land Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes. The 22-year-old has developed his game to the next level at Los Che and this has recently earned him a place in the Portuguese squad for Euro 2016.

Italian publication Tuttosport says the Old Lady will look to quicken their pursuit for the playmaker amid strong interest from the Red Devils.

Super Agent Jorge Mendes currently represents both Gomes and United boss Jose Mourinho, and this could play some part in the player's proposed move to Old Trafford.

Max Allegri's side look to be busy in the transfer market having already sealed an agreement to bring Brazilian full-back Dani Alves from Barcelona.
