Man Utd prepare bid for German playmaker
Manchester United are looking to pursue a summer deal for German playmaker Julian Draxler. The 22-year-old was on the radar of top European clubs last year before he made a surprise decision to join Wolfsburg from Schalke.
The midfielder has since fared well for the German outfit despite their struggles to keep up with the best in the Bundesliga.
According to German daily Bild, Draxler is open to leaving the Wolves over the summer as he seeks to test himself in a new league next season.
It is added that manager Jose Mourinho is a firm admirer of the player's talents, and this could make United favourites to seal a bid for his services.
Draxler is currently rated at around £22m.
