Real Madrid plan Hazard-Morata swap

Real Madrid have proposed a player-plus-cash deal for Chelsea star Eden Hazard. The European champions are looking to bolster their midfield ranks with James Rodriguez likely to make way over the summer.

Hazard has shown glimpses of his old self for Belgium at Euro 2016, and this is said to have revived Los Blancos' interest in his services.

The Mirror reports that the Spanish giants will offer Alvaro Morata plus £35m in a desperate attempt to lure Hazard to the Bernabeu.

Spanish striker Morata has been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in recent weeks, but the imminent arrival of Michy Batshuayi from Marseille is likely to put the deal to a dead end.

Antonio Conte's side are expected to confirm their first signing of the summer with Batshuayi having undergone a successful medical.
