Mkhitaryan undergoing Man Utd medical
Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is currently undergoing a medical ahead of his transfer to Manchester United, according to transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio.
It has been coming for some time now, but it finally seems as though United are set to complete their move for BVB's Armenian playmaker.
The 27-year-old is currently going through a routine medical with the Red Devils, and an official announcement of his signing could be made in the coming hours.
Mkhitaryan has one year remaining on his Dortmund contract, and the Bundesliga club were thought to be keen on keeping him at Signal Iduna Park.
However, once word got out of United's interest, the player, via his agent Mino Raiola, agitated for his "dream move" to join 20-time champions of England.
Dortmund were initially refusing to sell the former Shakhtar Donetsk player, but their stance softened slightly when they put a €40 million asking price on his head.
It is thought that the two clubs have come to terms on a fee in the region of €38-42 million, and Mkhitaryan has agreed a four-year deal with United.
Mkhitaryan was outstanding for Dortmund last season, registering 23 goal and 24 assists helping Thomas Tuchel's men finish second to Pep Guardiola's Bayern Munich in the race for the Bundesliga title.
Mkhitaryan will become new United boss José Mourinho's third signing, following the captures of Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimović.
