Arsenal to re-sign Robin van Persie ?
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been urged by the fans to re-sign former captain Robin van Persie this summer. The Netherlands international is expected to leave Fenerbahce just a year after his move from Manchester United.
Van Persie had a fall-out with manager Vitor Pereira for his reduced playing time last term, and this has led to suggestions he could pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere.
According to The Independent, the Dutchman is keen a return to the Premier League with the likes of Crystal Palace and West Ham United interested in his signature.
However, with interest high among the Gunners faithful, Wenger could be tempted to bring Van Persie back to the Emirates next season.
The 32-year-old netted 20 goals in all competitions for Fener despite rarely completing 90 minutes of a single game.
Fener will listen to offers in excess of £4m for their player.
