Christian Benteke to stay put at Liverpool
Christian Benteke is set to snub the likes of West Ham United and Crystal Palace to remain at Liverpool next season.
The Belgian international has struggled to cement a regular place at Anfield since his move from Aston Villa 12 months ago.
It had been recently claimed that the Reds could offload their striker in the transfer window with the Hammers and Eagles hot on the trail of the player's services.
However, a report from The Telegraph says Benteke will reject advances from his suitors as he bids to force his way into the first-team setup under Jurgen Klopp.
The 25-year-old is currently behind the likes of Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi for the centre-forward position whilst forgotten man Mario Balotelli has been asked to pursue his career elsewhere.
Benteke was restricted to just 14 starts in the top flight last term.
