Blaise Matuidi, who is believed to be a target for both Manchester United and Chelsea, as well as Italian champions Juventus, is valued at €50 million by his current club Paris Saint Germain, according to reports in France.

Le Parisien is reporting that PSG have slapped a massive €50 million price tage on 29-year-old Matuidi, whom they view as a key player.

MAtuidi was believed to be on Manchester United’s list of midfield targets before the Old Trafford club secured the world record breaking £89 million signing of Paul Pogba from Juventus. But United manager José Mourinho is still thought to be keen on signing Matuidi despite Pogba’s arrival, if he is able to sell some of the current United midfielders he considers surplus to requirements.

Chelsea are also thought to be interested in Matuidi, as new manager Antonio Conte looks for the ideal midfield partner for new signing N’Golo Kanté. However, the Blues are likely to be put off by PSG’s valuation of a player who is approaching his thirties.

Juventus are known to be considering a move for Matuidi as they weigh up their options for replacing Pogba. The French international is part of a short list which also features Zenit St Petersburg’s Axel Witsel and Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic.

The Bianconeri are unlikely to be willing to meet PSG’s valuation, as is the case with Witsel for whom Zenit are demanding €30 million despite the 27-year-old Belgian only having one year remaining on his contract.
