Man City identify Joe Hart replacement
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is lining up a bid for Euro 2016 hero Rui Patricio. The Sporting Lisbon man was a key performer for Portugal as they went on to lift the European crown in France earlier this summer.
Hart currently finds himself on the fringes of the first-team after he was dropped for the in-form Willy Caballero in goal against Sunderland.
The Mirror says the Citizens will step up their pursuit for Patricio after they failed to convince Barcelona to sell Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.
Patricio, who is also a transfer target for Everton, is open to leaving Sporting this month, as he seeks to prove his credentials in the Premier League.
Sporting will accept fees in excess of £6m for their long-standing keeper this month. Patricio has appeared in over 365 games for the Lisbon side since his debut in 2006.
