PSG turn to Antoine Griezmann
PSG turn to Antoine Griezmann
Paris Saint-Germain are keeping an eye on Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann. The French champions are yet to find a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Ibrahimovic, 35, joined Manchester United on a Bosman over the summer after he decided against extending his stay at Parc des Princes.
Since then, Edinson Cavani has impressed in the centre-forward position, but there is still the need to recruit a world-class marksman, who could help the side progress further in the Champions League.
Spanish source Sport claims that Les Parisiens have joined the chase for Griezmann as they seek to better their performances in Europe's elite competition.
Les Parisiens have lost out in the quarter-finals in each of their last two seasons (Barcelona & Manchester City) and this is something they will seek to resolve next summer.
Griezmann is assessing his future at Vicente Calderon, and there could be a transfer tussle among a host of Elite clubs, should he decide to pursue a fresh challenge next term.
Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are also in the running to sign the £90m-rated striker.
