Man Utd scout Benfica full-back
Nelson Semedo is the latest defender to be linked with a move to Old Trafford. Manchester United are on the search for a specialist right-back in the New Year.
Jose Mourinho has highlighted his intention to recruit a new player on the right side of the defence despite Antonio Valencia impressing during the opening months of the campaign.
According to O Jogo, the Red Devils were keeping their focus on Nelson Semedo during Benfica's 2-0 triumph over Belenenses in the Primeira Liga last weekend.
United also have AS Monaco's Fabinho and Everton's Seamus Coleman as potential targets with Matteo Darmian likely to make way to recoup funds.
Semedo, 22, has turned out 12 times for Benfica in all competitions this season. He is also a full international with Portugal having earned a solitary cap against Serbia last year.
