Inter favourites to land Marco Verratti
Inter Milan are apparently deemed favourites to sign Marco Verratti in the winter transfer window. The Italy international is looking for a way out of Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.
Verratti has been ill-treated by the French press over the past couple of months, despite being played out of position by manager Unai Emery.
According to The Sun, the 23-year-old is prepared to pursue his career elsewhere, should the media continue to make critical comments over his performances.
Arsenal, Barcelona and Manchester United have been monitoring the player this season, but it is the Nerazzurri, who are in pole position to sign Verratti next year.
Inter have already held negotiations with the player's representative, and the deal could be quickened, should Laurent Blanc take over the reigns at San Siro.
Frank de Boer is under immense pressure to perform at Inter Milan after his side endured a fourth defeat in five successive league games.
