Liverpool remain keen on Kolasinac
Liverpool have reportedly stepped up their interest in Schalke 04 defender Sead Kolasinac. The Bosnian was linked with a switch to Anfield earlier in the year.
The 23-year-old has stalled on negotiations over a fresh deal at Veltins-Arena despite approaching the final six months of his contract.
According to German daily Bild, the Reds are prepared to lure the young full-back to Merseyside, should he fail to pen an extension in the coming months.
Former Schalke 04 teammate Joel Matip signed a pre-contract with Liverpool last winter, and Kolasinac could follow a similar trend at the start of 2017.
James Milner has been utilized as a makeshift left-back for much of this season with Alberto Moreno acting as his deputy.
Jurgen Klopp's side are currently placed third in the league standings by virtue of a lower goal difference to Arsenal and Manchester City.
