Branislav Ivanovic to Barcelona?
Barcelona are reportedly interested in a January deal for Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic. The Serb has struggled to make himself a regular under Antonio Conte this season.
The 32-year-old has been warming the bench in recent months with Conte opting to play a 3-4-3 formation at Stamford Bridge.
Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz, and Gary Cahill are currently the preferred three at the back for the Italian whilst Victor Moses has occupied the right wing-back role.
According to Spanish source Fichajes, the Catalan giants are weighing up a cut-price move for the veteran with Luis Enrique keen on adding an experienced right-back to his ranks.
The Spanish champions are yet to find a replacement for Dani Alves, who left in the summer, and this has urged Enrique to pursue a suitable competitor for Sergi Roberto.
Aleix Vidal is the currently back-up option at Camp Nou, but Enrique is not entirely satisfied with his abilities.
For the time being, Ivanovic is focused on his job at Chelsea, and is hopeful of earning an extension beyond the summer of 2017.
