Everton to offload Ross Barkley to sign Man Utd duo
Everton are prepared to listen to offers for Ross Barkley in order to recoup funds for the signing of Manchester United duo Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin.
The 23-year-old has failed to cement a regular role under Ronald Koeman this month, and it is understood that the Dutchman would not mind offloading the midfielder in January.
According to The Express, the Toffees have placed a £30m price tag on Barkley's head with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City among the key contenders for his signature.
The Merseyside outfit are said to be in advanced negotiations to land both Depay and Schneiderlin from Manchester United, but the deal will go through only after they manage to cash in on Barkley.
Everton have had a stop-start season in the top flight, and Koeman would be aware of the need for a long winning streak if they are to challenge for a European place.
