Clubs eyeing up move for Jordan
Clubs eyeing up move for Jordan
The impressive performances of Jordan Ayew in the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Gabon has gone unnoticed by various clubs across Europe. Jordan Ayew is the younger brother of West Hams star, Andre Ayew, and plays for Aston Villa in the English Championship.
Reports from scouts available at Africa's biggest tournament on Jordan have been very positive. Clubs from England, France and Germany are eyeing up a potential move for him in the summer because they feel this January window has come too soon.
The manager of Aston Villa, Steve Bruce, is yet to reject or confirm interest from other clubs in his player but sources close to the club say Bruce won't let him leave on deadline day or even in the summer.
Jordan scored the first goal in the quarter final win for his country, Ghana, in their 2-1 over the DR Congo in Stade Oyem, Gabon.
He has played 22 times for his club and scoring 3 goals this season
