Real Madrid still keen on De Gea
Real Madrid are still in the running to sign Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea. The Spain international came close to joining Los Blancos in the summer of 2014 before a delay in paperwork pulled the plug on the deal.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the European champions have received a boost in their chase for De Gea after he is alleged to have snubbed a fresh deal at Old Trafford.
The 26-year-old is currently contracted to United until 2019 with the option of an additional year, but the lack of Champions League football could still lure him to the Bernabeu.
Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois is the other player on Los Blancos' radar as Zinedine Zidane seeks to add a world-class shot-stopper to his already star-studded squad.
De Gea has appeared over 256 times for Manchester United since arriving from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2011.
