Man City to move for William Carvalho?
Former Arsenal target William Carvalho has emerged as a possible target for Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola at the end of the season.
The Portugal international has been long linked with a move to the Premier League with Manchester United, Arsenal and Everton among those being credited with interest.
According to AS, the Citizens are deemed favourites to pursue the Euro 2016 winner in the summer after Carvalho switched to the agency owned by Pep's brother.
The 24-year-old has previously revealed his dream of winning the Primeira Liga title with Sporting, and this could prove to be the stumbling block in the Citizens' pursuit of the anchorman.
Carvalho has been the driving force behind Sporting's progress in recent seasons, and his potential move to the Etihad could spell the end of Yaya Toure's career in the blue side of Manchester.
