Man City leading Kylian Mbappe race?
Manchester City are reportedly planning a summer swoop for highly-rated AS Monaco teenager Kylian Mbappe. The 18-year-old, who is often likened to Arsenal great Thierry Henry, has notched 12 goals and five assists across all competitions this season.
Mbappe was in impressive form for the Principality outfit last Tuesday when he got into the scoresheet in a 5-3 loss against Manchester City in the Champions League last 16, first-leg.
Both Arsenal and Juventus have been recently touted as possible destinations for the forward, but according to The Sun, the Citizens are the latest to have joined the pursuit.
The Mancunian giants are also said to have an eye on fellow teammates Thomas Lemar, Fabinho and Benjamin Mendy, all of whom are likely to cost in excess of £30m.
Mbappe is currently the most-valued player at Stade Louis II, and Monaco will not settle for a package less than £50m for their asset this summer.
The teenager is currently the youngest-ever senior debutant for Monaco after breaking the previous record held by none other than Henry himself.
