Arsenal, Chelsea track Bundesliga full-back
Both Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping tabs on Schalke defender Sead Kolasinac whose contract is due to expire in the summer.
The Bosnian international is being closely watched by the Premier League pairing as he bids to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere.
Kolasinac had been tipped to join one of Juventus or Chelsea on a cut-price deal prior to the winter transfer deadline, but Schalke decided to keep hold of his services with the risk of losing him for nothing this summer.
According to The Star, both the Gunners and Blues are lining up respective contract offers for the player as they seek to lure him to the English capital next season.
The Gunners are said to be on the search for a potential replacement for left-back Kieran Gibbs, who could be leaving the Emirates in the summer.
Meanwhile, Chelsea seek to offer more competition to Marcos Alonso for the left wing-back role despite having Nathan Ake to act as backup.
Kolasinac, who has earned over 100 outings for Schalke, is also a transfer target for league rivals Liverpool.
